Sharma, is extending the Marudhar Express, which currently runs from Varanasi City to Jodhpur, to originate from Mau Junction. This makes it easier for people traveling from Mau to Jodhpur. A.K. Sharma assured that the demands of the people of Mau would be considered. A week later, the new list released by the Railway Ministry approved the operation of the Marudhar Express from Mau. Additionally, there's a demand to operate the Begampura Express via Mau, discussed by Shri Ram Jaiswal with Minister Sharma, which would connect Mau to Jammu (if the train runs from Ballia instead of Varanasi). Proposals to increase the frequency of weekly trains from Mau Junction to Anand Vihar and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus have also been made. This decision will benefit devotees of Salasar Balaji and passengers travelling to Jaipur and Jodhpur. The demand for train operations to distant metropolitan cities has been increasing since the construction of washing pits and a washing terminal at Mau Junction railway station. Shri Ram Jaiswal, a member of the Regional Rail Passenger Advisory Committee, had previously requested the operation of the Begampura Express, Kamayani Express, and Marudhar Express from Mau Junction in a meeting of the North Eastern Railway. Minister Sharma gave a positive assurance regarding the operation of these trains from Mau.
