The Purushottam Express (12801/12802), a major train on the Tatanagar route, which used to go to New Delhi station, will now operate from Anand Vihar Terminal. This change is officially effective from August 18, 2025, from Puri and August 20, 2025, from Anand Vihar. This change will affect passengers from Jamshedpur... and the entire Kolhan region, as previously trains like the Neelanchal Express and Sampark Kranti also served New Delhi. Passengers now have to travel further after reaching Delhi. Only the Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express currently provides a direct service to New Delhi. Passengers and social organizations are protesting this decision, demanding the Purushottam Express resume service to New Delhi station, and prioritizing passenger convenience over station management.
Purushottam Express (12801/12802) jo Tatanagar route se jati hai, ab New Delhi station ki jagah Anand Vihar Terminal se chalegi. Railway ne is change ki official notification issue kar di hai. Yeh change Puri se 18 August 2025 se aur Anand Vihar se 20 August 2025 se effective hoga. Isse Jamshedpur... aur entire Kolhan region ke passengers ko problem hogi, kyunki pehle Neelanchal Express, Sampark Kranti jaise trains bhi New Delhi jati thi. Ab passengers ko Delhi pahunchne ke baad extra travel karna padega. Abhi sirf Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express hi New Delhi tak direct service deti hai. Passengers aur social organizations is decision par protest kar rahe hain, Purushottam Express ko fir se New Delhi station tak operate karne ki demand kar rahe hain, aur passenger convenience ko station management se zyada priority dene ko keh rahe hain.
