Retired railway employee Ramautar, residing in Nagla Mahanand village in the Mohammadabad Kotwali area, had his house on the outskirts of the village, near the road. The family stays in this house during the day and moves to their house inside the village at night. On Sunday night, thieves broke into... the house by cutting the main gate's latch. They then opened the room doors and ransacked the almirahs and boxes. Ramautar's wife, Bitta Devi, discovered the theft the next morning. The police investigated the scene but found no clues. Ramautar reported the theft of six tolas of gold jewelry, one kilogram of silver jewelry, 15,000 rupees in cash, a gas cylinder, utensils, and clothes. The estimated loss is around eight lakh rupees. Kotwal Vinod Shukla stated that the investigation is underway and the culprits will be apprehended soon.

Ramautar ne bataya ki chor chheh tola sone ke, ek kilo chandi ke jewrat, 15,000 rupaye, gas cylinder, bartan aur kapde nikaal le gaye. Kareeb aath lakh rupaye ka nuksaan hone ki jaankari police ko di gayi hai. Kotwal Vinod Shukla ka kehna hai ki maamle ki chhanbin ki jaa rahi hai. Jald hi choron ko talaash kar maamle ka khulasa kiya jayega.
