Muzaffarpur Latest news :
Despite the arrest of five fraudsters in Muzaffarpur and Hatia for tampering with tickets, such incidents continue. Three more tampered tickets have been detected in Darbhanga. This has caused a stir in the Samastipur railway division and the East Central Railway, involving commercial and RPF departments. Investigations are underway. Following orders from... the RPF Commandant of Samastipur, CCTV footage is being reviewed at Darbhanga station, including unreserved ticket counters. The commercial and finance departments have also inspected Darbhanga station, along with Turkey and Hajipur stations. On November 18th, three unreserved tickets were purchased from Turkey station for a passenger train to Hajipur. These tickets were tampered with to show the destination as Ahmedabad from Darbhanga. The tickets were then presented at the Darbhanga unreserved counter for a refund. The value of the three tickets exceeded 1500. When the booking clerk entered the ticket numbers for the refund, the system indicated they were issued from Turkey station. The tampered tickets were seized and given to commercial officials. The railway's accounts section has started an investigation. On Thursday morning, railway officials investigated Turkey station and confirmed the tickets originated there. The information was provided to divisional-level officials. The RPF Commandant was informed and deployed intelligence at Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, and other stations. The UTS in-charge was also issued a show-cause notice. The Commandant questioned why the booking clerk did not immediately inform the RPF about the person returning the tickets. The Darbhanga RPF Inspector's negligence was also noted for failing to apprehend the person with the tampered tickets. The Commandant claimed a quick resolution to the case. Previously, last year, six tampered tickets were caught at the Muzaffarpur unreserved ticket counter during a refund attempt. The commercial officer had not informed the RPF at that time. After a detailed report in the Daily Jagran, the RPF initiated an investigation. RPF Inspector Manish Kumar uncovered a scheme where tampered tickets were being sold to unsuspecting passengers before the departure of the Muzaffarpur-Yeshwantpur train. The passengers missed their train and the fraud was discovered during the refund process. Subsequently, the RPF arrested four fraudsters with dozens of tampered tickets. It was revealed that tickets from Patna station were being tampered with and sold at Muzaffarpur junction. The Sonpur and Danapur Senior Commandants solved the case, revealing that the fraudsters were operating from a hotel near Patna station, targeting unsuspecting passengers. Later, RPF raided Jamtara, Jharkhand, and seized micro seals. All the criminals caught in Muzaffarpur were from Paru. Another fraudster from the same gang was caught in Hatia, Ranchi. Five members of this gang were jailed. The RPF Inspector was awarded a cash prize by the DRM.
Muzaffarpur aur Hatia mein paanch fraudsters ke pakde jaane ke baad bhi, tempered ticket ke cases ruk nahi rahe hain. Darbhanga mein teen aur tempered tickets ka pata chala hai. Isse Samastipur rail division aur East Central Railway mein, commercial aur RPF departments mein halla mach gaya hai. Jaanch shuru ho... gayi hai. RPF Commandant Samastipur ke aadesh par, Darbhanga station par CCTV footage ki jaanch ho rahi hai, jismein unreserved ticket counters bhi shamil hain. 18 November ko, Turkey station se Hajipur ke liye ek passenger train ke liye teen unreserved tickets kharide gaye the. In tickets ko Darbhanga se Ahmedabad dikhane ke liye tempered kiya gaya tha. Phir in tickets ko Darbhanga unreserved counter par refund ke liye pesh kiya gaya. UTS in-charge ko bhi show-cause notice diya gaya. Muzaffarpur mein pakde gaye sabhi criminals Paru se the. Isi gang ka ek aur fraudster Hatia, Ranchi mein pakda gaya. Is gang ke paanch members ko jail bheja gaya. RPF Inspector ko DRM ne cash prize diya.
