Train route to Aizawl clears final safety hurdle as CRS submits report to Ministry

The train will pass through important stations like Bareilly, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, and Kanpur before reaching Prayagraj. He added that this train will provide significant relief to the people of Kumaon traveling to Prayagraj for pilgrimage. Also, passengers coming from Prayagraj can easily visit the religious and mountainous places of Kumaon. Ajay Bhatt expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav.

The 18181/18182 Tatanagar Express train departs from Thawe at 10:10 AM and passes through Siwan, Chhapra, Hajipur, Garaul, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Barauni, Jhajha, Jasidih, Asansol, Purulia before arriving at Tatanagar. Upon its return, the train remains at Thawe station for 12 to 14 hours. Extending the train to Kaptanganj would allow residents of Tamkuhirod, Padrauna, Ramkola, and Kaptanganj (Kushinagar district) to benefit from a long-distance train. Local businessmen like Vijay Devda, Chhotelal Verma, Ajay Verma, Sugreev Maddheshia, Moti Jaiswal, Rahul Soni, Diwakar Dutt, and Vinod Gupta, along with others, are urging the railway administration to extend the Tatanagar Express to Kaptanganj for passenger convenience.
