To combat the summer heat, passengers at Prayagraj Junction will now have access to cool water, coconut water, and fresh fruit juice. A stall has opened between platform numbers two and three. Divisional PRO Amit Singh stated that Prayagraj Division currently has 139 catering stalls, 84 multipurpose stalls, and three refreshment rooms. The fruit juice stall aims to enhance passenger convenience and expand food and beverage options at Prayagraj Junction. This is the first such fruit juice stall within the North Central Railway. In Lucknow, a fire broke out near the Mohanlalganj railway station on Friday morning in a pile of wooden logs and trees. The fire was brought under control after an hour and a half of effort. The cause of the fire is believed to be a burning bidi (Indian cigarette). The... wooden logs were placed approximately 300 meters from the station platform on the Mau road. The land belongs to the railway. Reportedly, a contractor had stored the logs after cutting down dry trees. The station superintendent was informed about the fire at 8:50 AM.
