The Chheoki Railway Station in Prayagraj is undergoing a major development plan in preparation for the 2031 Kumbh Mela. The inspection of the electrification work on the 21.77 km Karnalganj-Ghaghara Ghat section of the Gonda-Burdwal rail line (61.72 km) for the third rail line construction was completed on Friday. The inspection was conducted by CRS Pranjiv Saxena of NER Circle. He tested the speed of a special train between Karnalganj... and Ghaghara Ghat stations at a speed of 130 kmph.
