The Indian Railways is launching Amrit Bharat Express trains from Gomtinagar to Darbhanga and Malda Town starting from Friday. The Malda Town to Gomtinagar Amrit Bharat Express will depart every Thursday at 7:25 PM and arrive at Gomtinagar station at 3:40 PM on Friday. On the return journey, it will depart from Gomtinagar every Friday at 6:40 PM, reaching Malda Town at 4:40 PM the next day. This train will halt at New Farakka, Barharwa, Sahibganj, Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur, Sultanganj, Jamalpur, Abhaipur, Kiul, Sheikhpura, Nawada, Tilaiya, Gaya, Dehri On Sone, Sasaram, Bhabua Road, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Shahganj, Ayodhya Dham, and Ayodhya Cantt stations. The Darbhanga-Gomtinagar Amrit Bharat Express (Train Number 15561) will depart from Darbhanga every Saturday at 3:00 PM and arrive at Gomtinagar at 5:35 AM on Sunday. Indian Railways has launched a new train, the 22361/22362 Rajendra Nagar Terminal-New Delhi Amrit Bharat Express, to benefit passengers. Special train 03261 (Rajendra Nagar Terminal-New Delhi) will run on Friday, and 03262 (New Delhi-Rajendra Nagar Terminal) on Saturday, as inaugural specials. Special train 03261 will have 22 coaches, including two SLR/D coaches, 11 general coaches, eight sleeper coaches, and one pantry car. It will depart from Rajendra Nagar Terminal at 11:45 AM on Friday, arriving at Patna at 12:00 PM, and then via Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, reaching Subedarganj station in Prayagraj at 6:15 PM. It will then stop at Govindpuri, Ghaziabad and New Delhi, arriving in Delhi at 4:00 AM. The Ministry of Railways has approved the construction of a new bypass line, including a railway flyover, from Gunda Bihar to Chandil under South Eastern Railway. This long-awaited project will be built at a cost of Rs 343.97 crore, with a length of 10.6 kilometers. The flyover and bypass line will... extend to Chandil station. Currently, all up and down trains between Chandil and Nimdih (towards Adra) are delayed due to crossings. The project aims to eliminate these delays and enhance the capacity of the single-line section, meeting the needs of freight and passenger traffic in the coming decade. The train will pass through Deoghar, Qul, Dehri On Sone, Gaya, Sasaram, Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Prayagraj, Ghaziabad Delhi, and Gurgaon. This weekly train will depart from Godda on Tuesdays at 5 AM, arriving in Ajmer at 5:20 PM the next day. It will reach Delhi on Wednesdays at 8:15 AM. The train will depart from Dorai Ajmer on Sundays at 3:30 PM, arriving in Godda at 10:20 PM the next day. MP Dr. Dubey has been instrumental in developing railway infrastructure in Godda, starting with the Humsafar Express on April 8, 2021. Godda is now third in the Malda division for the number of trains operating. The Humsafar Express also originates from Godda. Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has been awarded a contract by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for the viaduct and platform construction of the Delhi Metro Phase 4's Golden Line Extension (Lajpat Nagar to Saket G Block) under Contract D2C-02. The extension covers 8.385 km. The original Golden Line (Aerocity to... Tughlakabad) of Phase 4 is 23.622 km long, with 15 stations. The tender for this contract had a 1095-day deadline. Technical bids were opened on April 25th, with 5 firms participating. On July 2nd, technical evaluations were done, and 2 bids were rejected. Financial bids were also opened on July 2nd, revealing RVNL as the lowest bidder. The contract is worth ₹447.42 crore and has a 36-month duration. The scope of work includes the construction of a 7.298 km viaduct and platforms for 7 stations (Pushp Vihar, Saket District Court, Pushpa Bhawan, Chirag Delhi, GK-1, Andrews Ganj, and Lajpat Nagar) on the Lajpat Nagar to Saket G Block section.
