The Indian Railways is set to launch a new train service for the people of Mithilanchal on the occasion of the New Year. This service will provide an additional option for people residing near the India-Nepal border to reach Patna. Regular train services will commence in January between Laukaha and Patna... via Darbhanga. MP Rampreet Mandal stated that he had requested the Railway Minister on December 17th to start a direct train service between Laukaha and Patna. The Ministry assured to start the train in January via Darbhanga and Samastipur to Patna.
