An express train from Old Delhi station reached Godda station on Thursday for the first time. This is the 14th train providing Godda residents with a direct connection to New Delhi. The weekly train will depart from Delhi every Monday at 3 PM and arrive in Godda at 3:45 PM on Tuesday. The return journey will depart from Godda every Wednesday at 10 AM and arrive in Delhi at 9:10 AM on Thursday. The 21-coach train will cover the 1315.41 km journey from Godda in 24 hours and 45 minutes, traveling at an average speed of 53.14 km/h. The train will make stops at Tundla Junction, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Junction, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Bhabua Road, Sasaram, Dehri-on-Sone, Gaya Junction, Koderma Junction, Jamua, New Giridih, Madhupur Junction, Jasidih Junction, Deoghar, Kakni, and Hansdiha.
